hi scott
good idea this tap a draft kegging system, but i am like you i like a decent head on my pint,so i have a pressure barrel that you top up with gas when it runs out but the only problem is, you cant refrigiate the barrel as it is too big,
but must admit the beer is fantastic out of the barrel just like you get in a bar.
good health

Thanks David. While I'm currently using the Tap-A-Draft (which has been great by the way) I'm hoping to get a proper kegging system from a buddy of mine. I hear they are a little trickier with figuring out the pressures but he's going to sort that out for me.

Stay in touch!

Hi Scott,
Nice article on homebrewing, like you I too make
beer from kits, but I also make all grain from scratch too
with friends that have been making beer for many years.
When I started I bought a 5Lb CO2 setup and a couple Corny Kegs.It also included a double gauge setup for each keg
because different beers use different CO2 pressures, while
some beers are designed to use little CO2.My friends have
taught me that while i thought i was a lager man, there are
too many great ales out there as well.Keep up the great website, and i'll keep checking in.
